Here's What She Says.

I will always have a soft spot for mosaic makeup.

pictured is: givenchy prismissme in 31 skin fusion, 3 shades of nyc cosmetics color wheel mosaic eye powder, and The Brush Company Tickled Pink Kabuki Brush.

i love mosaic makeup because it is:
a. esthetically pleasing (seeing complementing shades grouped together makes me smile)

b. versatile. you can either mix the colors (like with your kabuki brush!) or wear them individually (making them great for travel).

How To Create Smoky Eyes

The key to creating a smoky eye is Blending. The color is darkest around your lash line, and continues to fade out to blend in with your natural skin tone.
The first thing you want to do is put some concealer around your eye including the upper lid area all the way up to the brow. This helps create a base that will help the shadow have some staying power.
Using The Italian Badger Crease Brush apply a medium shade of smoky gray to the lid area.
Next using a smaller brush such as the small contour pencil brush using a dark matte violet colored eye shadow apply this into the outer corner and inner corner of the upper lid blending in a circular motion.
Then using a light shimmery pink blend in the middle areas this keeps your eyes looking warm and thoroughly blend make sure you do not take the color up to high.
Repeat these steps on the bottom using the smaller countour pencil brush.

For a Flawless Complexion use a Foundation Brush

Why everyone needs a Foundation Brush

  • They work well with all types of foundation, including creams, liquids and even solid stick foundations.

  • They create a flawless finish by allowing the makeup to cover each area of the face equally.

  • They make spot application and total coverage easy because of their unique flat, tapered shape.

  • They are easy to maintain and will last years if you take care of them properly.

  • Using a foundation brush gives you much more control and uses less product than your fingers or sponges which obsorb alot of product and cause waste costing more money over time.

  • With a foundation brush you can do a light coverage or a more heavy coverage.
